Mary Stewart Murphey is a registered pharmacist in South Carolina who owned and operated a nuclear pharmacy, Low Country Diagnostics, and a cyclotron facility, Palmetto P.E.T. Services, in Charleston, S.C. from 1995-2007. She was responsible for compounding and dispensing of unit dose radiopharmaceuticals, performing quality control on all radiopharmaceuticals dispensing, maintaining all radiation safety records required by DHEC and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, maintaining all pharmacy records required by SC State Board of Pharmacy.
After selling her pharmacies in 2007, she continued as a pharmacy consultant and educator for Triad Isotopes and North Star Medical Radioisotopes until 2014.
